Today was a day of many different moods.... i was pretty excitied this mornin(ya know for the first day of school and all) but then i realized how totally not ready for school i was... and i got up pretty late and my daddy rushed me and pretty much kicked me out of my house so i just grabbed what i remembered to bring... which was pretty much nothing... haha as usual. I ended up forgetting: and writing utensils whatsoever, paper, my lock, a couple of books, and my PE shorts (luckily i didnt need em). I wouldnt be surprised if i actually forgot to mention some... AND ON TOP OF THAT... hehe... the backpack and binder, which i actually did brang to school, hasnt been touched since i came back from Rhode Island... so it still had a bunch of papers and crap from my class and even from last school-year...

neways... being back at school was cool... (i rhymed!) well at least seein all my school buddies was... but as i walked out of each class i remembered that the... school... part of school... wasnt all that great, and with what ive heard... junior year sux... so i was pretty discouraged. I'm totally gonna get kicked out of my classes... fail em all...DUDE! i cant believe im an upperclassmen.... its too weird to think about... the day went by pretty quick... my *special friend* came to school and I DROVE HIS CAR!!! well round the parkin lot TWICE! and i got and D then i raised it to an A  hehe we ate burger king... AND I DRANK MY FIRST CUP OF SODA!! REAL SODA!! it was COKE!! well since about 18 months... yes i was faithful to my commitment--not chewin gum or drinkin soda while i have my braces on! hehe well i chewed my first gum... on August 21 (i saved the wrapper and the cup!.. and i wrote the dates...hehe) we got back to school at like 2... i think.. and i chilled wit some friends on the balcony... like old times... we talked and laughed and whatever and then we went to knippy's room....WAIT NO! ms. evardome's? (dunno how to spell her name) room and we listened to her sing!! so pretty!! and Jed!! hes so cool!! (well on the piano, anyways...) haha!! so inspiring... but the inspiration ended cuz well... it has no potential.... i finally left around 4. My mami had to drive home real quick and then we had to go to RedHill Park and i had to run/hobble around with my bad ankle... we had a big show there today (we go there every year) its soOoOo pretty! it has a lake and so much GREEN grass! well anyways we practiced til 6:30 and the show was like 2 hours long (by the way...i forgot one of my costumes too)... but the show was soOoOo fun! well anyways when we finally finished... our feet hurt so bad! and my ankle was getting swollen again! so i hobbled back to the car while carryin all my costumes.. and i went home and had dinner. So by the end of the day i had been excited, rushed, kicked out by my daddy, unprepared, discouraged, weird, inspired, rushed (again), happy, crippled, and tired.

OMG! WE GET OUT AT 12:30 EVERY FRIDAY!!! IM HAPPY AGAIN!!

DUDE!!! i swear its been an ETERNITY since i've written in here... well not much is really happenin...

This summer has been cool, fun, boring, and weird... haha well tuesdays and thursdays are cool and fun... cuz a certain special someone *cough* kris *cough* comes over   watchin the OLYMPICS is pretty awsome too... have you ever noticed how the swimmers start their laps? they do this weird thing with their body and they look like fish!!! its really weird... but its tyte.. and the gymnastics are awesome... people can do anything these days... its inspiring....

OHH MY GOSH!!! im sooOoOoo happy!!! i got my braces off!!! woohoo!! haha... yeah, thats some other exciting news.... OHH  and i got new contacts... DUDE! my im soOoOo blind... my eyes are gettin really bad... im excited about the quinceanera... the dresses are nice... (i might just be sayin that cuz I DESIGNED 'EM... haha)

Its soOoOo hot... *i wonder why...* haha well ya never know what to expect of the whether today.... one of my bRoWn-ies suggested that the earths axis is changin or tilting towards another direction... haha well thats her little scientific theory.. anyways... cant wait to see my school buddies again!!

SCHOOL IS STARTIN IN A WEEK!!!  im excited and happy but at the same time... im scared and sad... all i can really think about is PSATs, SATs, AP classes, and AP tests, and ::sigh:: its not really all that exciting anymore.. haha well thats all for now!! AHHHH... so glad to be back in CaLi!!! its been a while since ive written and i actually dont have much time... but heres a little overview of the past couple of days since i came back...

As i said my last good-byes to my Brown friends... i jumped into a cab with a couple of my other friends... (and seriously, i only had 1 DOLLAR left... haha) we rode together because our flights were around the same time and so we could split the charge... my plane was the first to leave and i started to cry and it was the worst... but i got over it... i didnt know that we could only send two bags of luggage for free.. so i ended up carrying my backpack with me the whole time (and i packed it like hardcore!) well anyways the plane stopped at Washington DC and i had to wait there for a few hours... OHH and i also had to carry this huge chair that i bought from Urban Outfitters (a company only known to the east coast) and its really cool, but it was kinda big and heavy... it hangs from the ceiling! haha well anyways i finally arrived at the LAX at around 5:10 in the afternoon and i went straight to luggage claim... i ended up waiting for about a half an hour for them to actually send out my luggage... and i was kinda sad and tired and i was just a mess.. but then... my buba showed up and my parents came and that made everything better!! well it turns out that on the same day (saturday) my church was having a beach vespers! so we loaded my stuff in the car and went to the Huntington Beach... at first we went to the "wrong" one... and we got kinda lost but i guess theres two beaches right next to each other... haha but we found our church friends and i was so happy to see my friends! the sun was setting and the beach was soOooOo beautiful!! we ate, some danced, and talked and walked and maybe some other stuff... it was fun.... well at least i know i had fun  

I woke up late on sunday morning and was pretty much unpacking all day... my 2nd mommy came over and she hung out with us for a while.. it was cool... My buba and his family invited my family out to eat dinner with them at a restaurant (aww...) and it was cool *except* that i showed up an hour late (i still feel bad...) You wont believe what i ate! i ate pork, shrimp, squid, and crab!! haha before you call me a heathen... lemme just say that it was all pretty much tofu and gluten... haha it was a vege restaurant.. it was pretty cool... well after dinner, my parents and his parents ended up talkin for about another half an hour.. haha as usual...

Monday was a weird day for me... i started with my skating schedule again and i guess i just got really tired so i took a four hour nap when i got back home... haha i guess it also makes up for the hours i missed for the last three weeks...after i finally woke up... my mommy and me went to school to buy our....beautiful uniforms...(which we're only gonna have for two years...) and then i stopped by the church to go over some songs for sabbath and then i went to visit my COUSINS!!! i havent seen them in forever and i miss them sooOoooOo much!! they are sooOoOo awesome!! i couldnt stay long but it was cool seeing them again...

After skating today, i came back home and cleaned up a little here and there.. my SiStaH and me had been wanting to go out today to take pix and watch a movie... well she didnt wake up untill like noon so we had to give up on takin the pix... we used our digi's instead... we wore (dunno if i spelled that right...it looks weird) our matching dresses and everything! haha o well... anyways we watched A Cinderella Story... it was cute but kinda corny... haha it was more cute though... but we kinda missed the first half hour... haha. After that i went over to her house. Her quinceanera is comin up so she is having meetings every tuesday and thursday for us (the people she asks to be in her quince) to practice for the dance at the night party... its cool.... its like a partner dance with a mix of hip-hop, salsa, and some other stuff... the rehersals are from 6-8 but we ended up dancing untill like 9... its really fun!

OHHH MY GOSH!!! I'm comin back tomorrow!!!! so much has happened i have to tell you guys all about it! but i might forget some parts.... well anyways i think i left off on Tuesday...

Well on Tuesday, the beginning of class was kinda boring but at in the afternoon, the whole class went to a training hospital sorta thing... its basically an ER simulation... it was soOoOo awsome! There were these high-tech manicans SORRY *MANNEQUIN* (which cost like 40,000 bucks) that could do basically anything! The ER simulations are places where wanna be doctors practice their knowledge on fake patients.... The manicans can breath, have a pulse, talk (there's a mike inside where the professors testing the students talk into), show symptoms of certain diseases, and a whole bunch of crap! Haha it was pretty cool... we practiced our cpr and rescue breathing on them too! We also learned how to stitch up wounds and practiced on these weird foamy arm things... yup yup... it was awesome! I WENT TO A CONCERT!!! my very first one! and it was for free! haha it was a hansen's concert!!! Evan and jeron and joey mac were there too!! And they sang that Um-Bop song!!! haha thats like the only one i know... it was raining and barely anyone was there but it was cool... they are all so old now! haha... At night we got kinda bored so we used davine's videocamera and we acted like we were entering a Video Festival in Korea so we started interviewing random people in the streets about nightlife at Brown or whether they had heard of people moving couches.. haha we would ask the most random questions.. and they would like take it seriously! It is sooOoOo funny! ohh and we got some drugies on there too... some guy said "i used to sniff pixie stix to prove to people that i can tell what flavor they are with my nose..." haha... that was funny...

On Wednesday, i was supposed to wake up early because i was going to the Operating Room at the Wayland Hospital to shadow a surgeon there... but... i ended up wakin up an hour late! I was so scared that i was gonna get like kicked out of the class! Haha well i had to run the whole way there and of course, it had to be raining... well when i got there the people were really nice and it didnt seem like they knew what time i was supposed to come... so i didnt say anything... hehe. I was really excited to be able to see an operation but the only ones scheduled for that morning were cateract surgery... (its where the surgeon removes a cloudy layer that builds up on the lens--which usually comes with age) it was pretty interesting the first time, but each surgery only takes about 30-45 minutes. So i watched it about 3 times... it was cool but i kinda wanted to see like open heart surgery or sumthin like that... well since i left kinda early, i decided to take a shower before going back to class... After class, we played dodgeball and my friend broke her finger!! haha so she had to stay at the hospital for like 6 hours... awww and my klepto-maniac friend decided to steal some milk from the frige downstairs (which just happened to be an RA's)... well she got caught and had to return it... haha ayayay! Jacki! haha

The next morning i had scheduled an appointment with John (my TA) at 8:45 to evaluate my 7-8 page paper... but like yesterday... i managed to sleep through it... i never seem to learn that if i lay down on my bed, even for just a few minutes, i will fall asleep (especially when i dont go to sleep until like 4 in the morning). Class didnt start until 10 and i still had some time...There was a college fair at 1 so class ended at around noon, which was pretty awesome.... The college fair was soOoOo crowded!!! It was hot outside and the college fair was inside this small stuffy building (it had been raining the past few days so i guess they thought it would rain that day too...) OHH!!! we stole a brand new bucket of FLUFF from the v-dub!! haha we snuck it into jinny's backpack!! i think some of the RA's were suspicious cause they were sitting at the table right behind us, but they didnt ask us about it.... After the college fair, my friends and me all wanted to go out so we walked around downtown Providence and went to the cheescake factory... but by the time we got there, it was closed .. so we walked around some more and jacki ate the fluff... haha... *mission completed*...There was a party that night that started at midnight but it was lame so we made our own slumber party! haha me and dayoung brought our matresses to jazzy's room and slept there! it was cool....

FRIDAY!!! OUR LAST DAY OF CLASS!! they started at 9 and ended at 12!! haha there was a lecture and a guest speaker but we didnt do much work... and we had a mini graduation!!!! we all walked out of the classroom, lined up, and walked back in, while the TA's played the "pomp and circumstance" with kazoos!!! haha it was funny! and we all got "hooded" with these cheap green ribons attached with a plastic Brown pin! Our professor did like the whole speech and everything! haha and then we had a pizza party! And you wont believe what happened!! (well if you're one of my close friends you probably will believe it) I left my backpack in the classroom!!! haha *who does that?* haha had already walked to the v-dub and we were just about to walk out.. and jaz comes runnin in and tells me that i'm so absent-minded! haha so i had to run back and the TA's left me a message!! haha yea... anyways after that i started to pack up all my things and i finished like 2 hours later.... it makes me so sad when i see the room all empty and everything!! We decided that we were gonna have a real dinner together so we made reservations at Andreas (greek) but davine couldnt come!!! aww i miss her already!!! There was also a dance/kareoke thing but it got pretty lame so we left and hung out on these swinging bench things... and now i'm here... we're planning to pull off another all-nighter but i'm not sure if im gonna do it... haha.
